Information used for sign-in

Dexter Interactive uses Supabase Auth to create and maintain your Dexter Account. When you continue with Apple or Google, the provider shares its account identifier, your email address or Apple private relay address, and available profile information such as your name and profile image. Availability depends on the provider and your choices. Dexter does not receive your Apple or Google password.

Supabase processes this information, your stable Dexter Account ID, linked sign-in providers, authentication timestamps, session credentials, and technical information such as IP address and browser details to authenticate you, maintain sessions, and protect the service. Apple and Google also process sign-in requests under their own privacy policies.

This website uses necessary browser storage to maintain your session and complete sign-in securely. Use sign-out on a shared device. Vercel hosts the website and processes routine request and security information. These account functions do not require newsletter signup.

Games you follow

When you follow or unfollow a game, we save that choice in your Supabase account metadata. We use it to select the studio news and release plans shown in your hub. Your choices are available when you sign in to the same Dexter Account on another browser or device.

Follow choices are retained with your account until you change them or your account is deleted. Unfollowing removes the game from your feed. Following does not subscribe you to marketing email, grant game access, or link game accounts, purchases, saves, or currencies.

Optional game notifications

If you enable game notifications in the iOS app, we store your Apple push token, Dexter Account ID, device notification choices, language, environment and registration time in Supabase. Releases and events are separate choices. Following a game alone does not enable notifications.

Apple Push Notification service processes the device token and alert content to deliver notifications. We use current game follows and your notification choices to select eligible alerts. Private submission receipts help prevent duplicate alerts; they do not track whether you read a notification.

Turn categories off in Profile or disable notifications in iOS Settings. Signing out removes this device registration; account deletion removes associated registrations and receipts. An alert already submitted to Apple may still arrive. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention schedules.

Your optional avatar

If you choose an avatar in the Dexter app, you can preview it before saving. The app crops and compresses a copy of your selected image; your original photo remains on your device. We store one current avatar in private Supabase Storage, associated with your Dexter Account ID. It is not a public profile image or a game avatar.

Only your signed-in account can request access through the app. Temporary image links expire after one hour; anyone you share a valid link with could view it during that time. Authorized service operators may access stored data to operate and support the service. Replacing your avatar overwrites the current image. You can remove it in the app; account-deletion requests also include avatar removal. Provider backups and logs follow their own retention schedules.

How providers connect

Supabase automatically links provider identities when their verified email addresses match. This can happen when you sign in with a second provider, without a separate linking confirmation. Your Dexter Account is identified by a stable account ID, not by email alone.

For different emails, including Apple private relay, you can sign in and explicitly choose to link the other provider. A provider that already belongs to a separate Dexter Account cannot be combined here. Linking sign-in providers does not combine game accounts, saves, purchases, currencies, or other product data.

Your choices and account deletion

Account information is retained while your account exists. Sign-out ends only the current session; it does not delete your account or sign you out of Apple or Google. In mobile versions with Delete account, open Profile and choose Delete account. Confirm your identity by signing in again, then confirm permanent deletion. This removes your account, followed-game preferences and private avatar. For Apple-linked accounts, we also revoke the Apple authorization used by Dexter. If deletion fails, the app shows an error so you can retry; it does not claim that deletion is complete. To request access or correction, or get help with deletion, email privacy@dexterinteractive.com.

Deleting a Dexter Account does not delete separate game accounts or newsletter subscriptions. Provider security logs and backups may remain under applicable provider retention schedules or legal requirements; we do not promise immediate removal from those systems.
